A Day in the 1K Islands

More rain and cool temperatures. After staying up past midnight to watch the Raptors win, it was a late start to the morning. After breakfast, Brian and I went outside to try to install the "new" TV satellite dish.

After much messing around with all of the orientation adjustments, we finally got a lock on the signal and they now have TV.

It finally stoped drizzling mid-afternoon and we managed to get a bit of a look around the property and neighbourhood. Lots of local critters.

The clouds actually broke up a bit and I managed to get a few pictures of their cottage, dock (underwater) and the "view".

For supper, we ventured into the local pub in Rockport.

With the TV now operational, we were able to watch the end of the Friday round of the US Open before retiring for the night.
